30 gen 2020 · Iron Maiden - The History Of - Part 1 - The Early Days. I can still remember hearing Maiden as a 10 year old way back in '79 and being totally blown away by what I saw and heard, from then on they became a part of growing up.
The History of Iron Maiden: Part 2: Directed by Matthew Amos. With Bruce Dickinson, Ross Halfin, Steve Harris, Iron Maiden. An extension from the end of the "The Early Days" documentary, this is a look into the bands past from the start of their "Powerslave" album days, and beyond, and the "World Slavery Tour" which followed.
So, when I saw "The History of Iron Maiden....part 1" on Amazon I thought perfect. And perfect really is the word for it. There is an hour and half documentary on this which covers the bands formation in 1975 to roughly 1981 which therefore includes their debut album and second album Killers.

With the release of "Live After Death" on DVD (which contains part 2 of the history), I wonder what they will do for "Somewhere in Time" and "Seventh Son". Personally, I would love to see a lot of the "Somewhere on Tour" footage and less of "Seventh Son" with its bland, all-white stage, but I fear Maiden will hose fans on that one.
