Sept 2019. Smaller in size than the big names, Magdalene offers a free and relativity peaceful Cambridge College experience. The wonderful Pepys Library offers a great insight to an amazing collection and the College courts gracing the river side of the College are beautiful in their simplicity and historical atmosphere.
Here are just a few of the reasons why many students choose to apply to Magdalene: Our size. Each year we admit just over 100 undergraduates, and are home to about 350 undergraduates and 200 postgraduates. This is big enough for everyone to find their niche, but small enough to remain personal and for most members of College to know one another.
Magdalene admits students to study all undergraduate degree courses offered at the University of Cambridge. Undergraduate courses at Cambridge cover a wide range of subject areas, there are over 30 undergraduate courses covering over 65 subject areas. Read more.
The OTR period runs for the entire vacation period (night of 25 June to night of 30 September 2024). You are not required to apply for an OTR outside these dates. Please remember that once you have left College, you cannot return during the same term (e.g. if you leave on 22 June, you cannot stay in College again until OTRs begin on 25 June).
