  2. The National Institute of Dramatic Art complex El Instituto Nacional de Arte Dramático se estableció en 1958 y se inauguró en 1959 con solo 23 estudiantes y dos miembros del personal. At the end of December, the NIDA Acting class of 2003 held a 20-year reunion, with alumni flying in from across the globe to attend a weekend celebration in picturesque Patonga on the Central Coast. The cohort is still very close, bonded by the formative experiences as young hopefuls during their time at NIDA.
