14 nov 2003 · Info from the booklet: This album consists of the studio acetates cut on 28th - 29th of August, 1985 at the Frankford/Wayne Mastering Labs in New York. Tracks 1-8 represent how the Twitch LP was originally intended to be. "All Day" - Remixed version was added to the final album replacing "Isle Of Man Version I" on Side 1.
Ministry's first release with Sire/Warner Bros. was the single "Over the Shoulder" in 1985, preceding the release of the band's second studio album, Twitch, in March 1986. Twitch was recorded and mixed largely at Southern Studios in London and Hansa Tonstudio in West Berlin during 1985, with the On-U Sound Records owner Adrian Sherwood and Jourgensen sharing co-production duties.
After a debut album that Jourgensen swears he had little to do with, comes 'Twitch', the first authentic album in the Ministry discography; the genuine inception of a phenomenon that would spread worldwide and gain universal acclaim for being a seminal work in the "industrial" field, admittedly an umbrella term grouping up music with a variety of backgrounds.
