Ric Menck is an American drummer, record label owner, and music writer. He began his career in Chicago, where he co-founded The Springfields and Choo Choo Train with Paul Chastain in the 1980s. Together, they formed Velvet Crush and relocated to Providence, Rhode Island in the early 1990s.
