La scuola dispone di una Senior School per studenti dagli 11 ai 18 anni. In origine era un collegio per bambini quaccheri, oggi la maggior parte degli alunni di oggi non sono quaccheri, ma la scuola conserva una forte etica quacchera ed è in grado di offrire premi di borsa di studio.
Ackworth School has an amalgamated boarding house, which combines Girls’ School House and Boys’ School House. The main aim of boarding at Ackworth is to provide a ‘home from home’. Our ‘house’ is located in the main school building which therefore provides a safe and secure environment whilst also giving easy access to all facilities including the dining rooms and classrooms.
