Bolt Thrower. Bolt Thrower was een deathmetalband uit de omgeving van Coventry in Engeland. De band werd in 1986 opgericht door Gavin Ward en Barry Thompson. Na de onverwachte dood van de toenmalige drummer in 2015 is de band in 2016 uit elkaar gegaan. De bandnaam is afgeleid van een wapen uit het spel Warhammer van Games Workshop .

"Live War" features a live show recorded in 1992 in Manchester on the tour supporting "The IVth Crusade" (September 1992, Earache Records).
