Soul and Jazz star Gordy passed away peacefully on Thursday (05.01.23) in his sleep at his Los Angeles home, his family confirmed to Eyewitness News. 31 dic 2022 · One of the Whispers' founding members, Gordy Harmon passed away in his sleep on January 5, 2023 at the age of 79. Gordy was with the Whispers at the beginning of their career, even before they gained worldwide recognition and fame. He left the group in 1973 after an accident where he injured his larynx. Leaveil Degree took his place.
