The Master of Music degree is an advanced two-year full-time course of study for students who have completed an undergraduate degree. The program is focused primarily on professional training and the refinement of musical craft. Students at the Master’s degree level learn to practice their art with technical assurance and communicative power.
When you are ready to submit your application, you will be asked to pay a $125 application fee. Current MSM and Precollege students, MSM alumni, and applicants to the Barnard/MSM Lesson Exchange Program pay a reduced fee of $50. All application fees are non-refundable. Late applicantsmust be approved by the Admission Office.
