1 mar 2012 · Walker didn’t write a note on Too Old to Change (made when Walker was all of 37 years old), but the songs all come across as very personal snapshots of a man who very much was ready for a change. His cover of “Ain’t Living Long Like This” doesn’t hold a candle to Waylon’s, Emmylou’s, or Crowell’s original, but if nothing else, he packs it with conviction.
12 gen 2007 · There is no way to term Jerry Jeff's music other than to say that it is Jerry Jeff Music. He writes great songs and interprets great songs written by others and makes them his own. He has taken Guy Clark songs, Bob Dylan songs (check out his rendition of "One Too Many Mornings", if you don't believe me), Rodney Crowell and Willie Nelson songs and made them better.
