“Seedy Films” is a track from Soft Cell’s debut album, “Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret” released in 1981. Produced by Mike Thorne and written by Dave Ball and Marc Almond, the song explores the dark underbelly of a sleazy city, where anything goes and blue films flicker.

Disc 1 features remastered versions of the band’s legendary early-’80s 12″ single A-sides, with ‘Numbers’ and ‘Soul Inside’ being very slightly edited in order to fit onto the disc, Disc 2 contains all the full-length B-sides, also remastered, and Disc 3 includes brand new versions and extended versions of key Soft Cell fan favourites.
Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret is the debut studio album by English synth-pop duo Soft Cell, released on 27 November 1981 by Some Bizzare Records. [1] [2] The album's critical and commercial success was bolstered by the success of its lead single, a cover version of Gloria Jones's song "Tainted Love", which topped the charts worldwide and became the second best-selling British single of 1981.
According to the Soft Cell website, this is not an approved release, and the 'proper' one is due in April / May. However, the track listing times above do indicate that this version has the 'full' extended versions of 'Seedy Films' & 'Sex Dwarf', that seemed to only be available on the digital package.
