Biographie. Elle est la fille de Betsy Enid Arnella (née James) et Ronald Urlington Pounder. Elle a fait ses études en Grande-Bretagne qu'elle poursuit au Ithaca College dans l' État de New York, lorsqu'elle s'installe aux États-Unis en 1970.
