The film stars Silvia Pinal, and it was produced by Pinal's then-husband Gustavo Alatriste.

The Avenging Angel was actually called the Destroying Angel and it was Rockwell. The Danites did exist within the Church but Joseph Smith demanded they cease and desist their vigilante practices.
