More like Southern SMELL! I wanted to like this film but just couldn't. It's not terrible, it's just that the quirkiness never quite worked for me. The music is whimsical, just not in an endearing way. It all feels so, so, cheap. Of course, the budget is small, but they weren't able to hide that in any effective way.
21 mar 2006 · I first saw Southern Belles at a film festival and I really really liked it. Then when I saw it was coming out on DVD, I had to have it. Fresh and new writer/director team, and I mean, oh what a cast! All up and coming future stars. See them now, before Hollywood sinks it's teeth in!
