5 mar 2014 · It’s not a fast paced film but it doesn’t drag either. Some good performances and unexpectedly gory bits make for an entertaining 90 minutes. Even if you aren’t familiar with the original I think you’ll get a decent enough buzz while you watch it. “Patrick: Evil Awakens” will be released to theaters by Phase 4 Films on March, 14th.

Nurse Kathy (Sharni Vinson) has just reported to her new post in a secluded hospital when she encounters Patrick, a young patient who appears brain dead, but mysteriously remains in peak physical condition.
10 set 2021 · Patrick: Evil Awakens follows in a line of remakes that deliver an almost exact retelling of the original. The most infamous of these remakes is the Psycho remake starring Vince Vaughn. I enjoyed PEA and the much darker tone that the film delivers but it does lack in a few other aspects. The acting in this one is surprisingly well done.
