11 mar 2015 · Warm Summer Rain is an odd mix of Raising Arizona and Waiting for Godot, but with an 80s vibe that makes the whole thing make even less sense. It’s as if a director took two semi-famous stars, put them in an abandoned building together, didn’t let them wear clothes, and then told them to talk about how crazy they feel inside.
Joe Gayton. Director. Kate, a depressed thirty-something who unsuccessfully attempts suicide by slitting her wrists. Reflecting briefly upon her circumstance in the hospital, she realizes that nothing has been solved, whereupon she vacates the premises, wearing nothing but a hospital gown, a black coat, and flimsy sandals.
