I personally like this style though. Over the music you have Stina showing off her angelic vocals with a little help of Echo added. Works well. The extended version is mainly more of Vangelis building up the track for 3 minutes before Stina gets in. The "B-side" of this single, Slow Piece, I actually like better than the title track.
Stina Nordenstam's cover album People Are Strange is a brilliant, brilliant album which everybody here should buy before it most likely disappears. The problem with most cover albums, in my opinion, is that the artist tries to do homage to the song's original nature, but in their own nature, which means the actual song is a diluted composition of both artist's strengths and weaknesses.
