Although I am not a big funk/soul fan, I have turned my attention to Patrice Rushen when hearing some of her Elektra albums. This specific album turned to be my favorite. There is very good funky dimension on this album (check out tracks "Music Of The Earth" and "Hang It Up"), and there is even better soul dimension.
