The New School is committed to alleviating the cost of graduate education whenever possible. Students admitted to the MFA Creative Writing program are eligible for an array of funding opportunities including merit-based institutional scholarships that cover up to 75 percent of tuition cost.
The New School offers an internationally renowned MFA in Creative Writing program, with concentrations in Fiction, Poetry, Nonfiction, and Writing for Children and Young Adults, as well a BA in Creative Writing and an undergraduate honors program, the Riggio Honors Program: Writing & Democracy.
