Shlomi Lavie (born November 26, 1978) is an Israeli-born American-based musician, best known as the drummer for Marcy Playground. He has also played with various other bands, including Nanuchka and Electro Morocco in New York City , and formerly with The Magical Mystery Tour, a Beatles tribute group, and Habiluim in Tel Aviv .

24 ago 2020 · When Shlomi Lavie's mother realized she had a hyperactive kid on her hands, she didn't treat his ADHD tendencies with pills. She signed Lavie up for a marching band class at a community center. The only problem? Its music director thought the drummer "had no coordination whatsoever" and should play the trumpet instead.
