Charles Ingram was a prominent landowner and politician and served as a Groom of the Bedchamber to King George III from 1756 until 1763.

Biography. Isabella was baptised on 12 July 1759 at Whitkirk, "Isabella-Ann (daur. of Charles Ingram of Templenewsam esquire by Frances his wife) she was born on the tenth day of June and baptised on the twelfth day of July in the year 1759 as above".
