Serge Haroche (født 11. september 1944) er en fransk fysiker, der modtog nobelprisen i fysik i 2012 sammen med David J. Wineland for " banebrydende eksperimentelle metoder der muliggøre måling og manipulation af individuelle kvantemekaniske systemer", et studie af lystpartiklen, foton.
Haroche has received many prizes and awards, culminating in the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physics, shared with David Wineland. He is a member of the French and European Academies of Sciences. He is also a Foreign Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States, of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and of the Brazilian, Colombian, Russian and Moroccan Academies of Sciences.

Serge Haroche est un spécialiste de la physique atomique et de l’optique quantique. Après une thèse sur l’atome habillé effectuée (1967-71) sous la direction de Claude Cohen-Tannoudji , il a développé dans les années 1970-80 des méthodes nouvelles de spectroscopie laser basées sur l’étude des battements quantiques et de la superradiance.
