Sul teatro Bol’šoj sembrava che aleggiasse un’aria di disgrazia e anche Giuseppe Bove poté fare poco. Purtroppo, infatti, un incendio nel 1853 distrusse il Teatro e del suo aspetto originario ne resta qualche traccia solo in rare incisioni antiche.
