He created several different characters, many resembling the Mack Sennett style rough house comics of the mid teens, and Bebe Daniels was brought on to be his leading lady. One of his most successful characters was called, "Lonesome Luke."

Doctor (Lloyd) has to do some nerve racking feats in order to try to save the woman.
