I can't see the deleted comments, but in case you didn't know, the SF Art Institute was a completely different school from the Art Institutes that just had loans forgiven. It started in the 1800s whereas the Art Institutes (evil) started in the 1960s.

She taught at San Francisco Art Institute, and I asked her if I could start sitting in her classes, which were held in a bar in the Tenderloin called the Edinburgh Castle, and she said yes.
