  3. 2 giorni fa · Of course you can tell the difference. So can I and so can Steve Yedlin. Based on your statement, I think you completely missed Yedlin's point. He never said that viewers can't tell the difference between a 4K projection and 2K projection.

  5. 26 apr 2024 · I respectfully disagree: if you know what are you doing (see Steve Yedlin ASC) you can make digital look like film. You can pick apart "SW: the last jedi" and see out for yourself: film and digital are blended together seamlessly. However, you cannot just pick two random shot and "make them match" without much pain

  6. 6 giorni fa · And then, see what Steve Yedlin has to say about resolution. Original Alexa shot in 2.7k or in open gate 3:2 aspect ratio at 3.5k if I remember correctly. Correct, but if he wants to look at the movies, they’d be finished in 2K.

For a one man shop, it's a dream come true. So even with FilmConvert, it offers me an advantage no other software can. You NEED training.
