26 mag 2024 · This brought William Pitt to Pembroke in 1773 at the age of fifteen. He resided off and on until 1780, and in the following year he entered Parliament. Two years later he was Prime Minister. The College put him under Joseph Turner, afterwards Master, and George Pretyman (Tomline), afterwards Bishop of Winchester.
