Peter Craig is an American novelist and screenwriter. Craig grew up in Southern California and Oregon. He is the son of actress Sally Field and Steve Craig. He has two daughters from his first marriage, to poet and food writer Amy Scattergood. He was remarried in 2008 to Jennifer DeFrancisco, with whom he has a son.
Peter Craig is one of the busiest, most in-demand and talented young screenwriters currently working. B efore his success as the co-writer of Ben Affleck's THE TOWN (2010), Peter wrote three acclaimed novels - The Martini Shot (1998), Hot Plastic (2004), and Blood Father (2005).
