George Vaughan, Officer Commanding of the Newington Cadet Corps (1940-1946) and our second-ever Master of Wyvern House (1941-1946), enlisted on 18 August 1914 with the 12th Battalion, 1st Division of the AIF – the first Battalion ashore for the Anzac landing at Gallipoli.
