Part 2 in the Dreileben trilogy, Don't Follow Me Around, is the story of Johanna (Jeanette Hain), a police psychologist, who is sent to the small town in Thuringia, where a dangerous mental patient is on the loose. Her assignment is two-fold, she is to assist the local police, as well as investigate them for corruption under cover.

One part of a pseudo-trilogy of films from three filmmakers of the Berlin School each using the same simple plot device, Dominik Graf’s Komm mir nicht nach tells the story of a police psychologist who meets old acquaintances while investigating a case.
The police psychologist Jo is supposed to help catch the sex offender Molesch. Since the hotel is fully booked, she stays with her old college friend Vera and her husband Bruno. It turns out that Vera and Jo used to be in love with the same man. The two women's musings are interrupted when Molesch suddenly appears in the garden.
