Forgoing calculus, Feynman makes a geometrical argument starting with Newton's geometric proof. But he quickly diverges away from Newton to complete his original proof in his own enlightening manner. Feynman's "lost" lecture were the audiotape and a few pages of notes that Feynman jotted down for himself. As expected, Feynman provides an insightful exposition of the motion of the planets, beautifully arranged by the authors. After a few historical remarks you can find a proof of how Kepler's first law can be derived form Newton's formula in purely geometric flavour (along the lines of the proof originally given by Newton himself).
