Mr. McCollum has been on the staff at Wake Forest since 2009, previously working as an audio-visual technician for Brendle Recital Hall and Wait Chapel before becoming the Instructional Technologist for the Music and Theatre & Dance departments.
Dance Company. The Wake Forest University Dance Company is comprised of students working in a semi-professional manner and produces two concerts per year. The company performs works set by nationally renowned choreographers, Wake Forest faculty members, and selected students. Auditions for the company are held at the beginning of the fall semester.

The Wake Forest University Dance Company. The Wake Forest University Dance Company is made up of an average of 50 dancers that represent a variety of dance backgrounds including ballet, jazz, modern dance, tap, and hip-hop. The Dance Co. produces two concerts a year: one in the fall and one in the spring.

As a dance minor, you are not required to be a member of the Wake Forest University Dance Company, nor are you required to have previous dance training. Dance minors at Wake Forest have a wide range of training: Some of our minors come from arts high schools and continue to take advanced technique classes and perform with the Dance Company.
