Tony Martin's tenure (1987-'91 and '93-'97) as the vocalist with guitarist Tony Iommi has been well documented. Martin recorded five studio albums with Black Sabbath. In the wake of the English vocalist's initial tour of duty with Sabbath, he cut the tracks for Back Where I Belong at Revolution Studios, which was issued by Polydor in 1992.
