Remco DE MAAIJER (20-11-1999) 93) The reading of UN.ÏL - In one of his recent contributions, Wolfgang Heimpel discusses the meaning and reading of the word UN.ÏL (JAOS 118 p. 398). As far as the meaning of the word is concerned his observations are quite astute, but one point hè makes in his discussion of the proposed readings of the word is slightly beside the mark.

King Suigi, the second ruier of the Third Dynasty of Ur, created a complex called Puzris-Dagan, which roughly translates to "unto the shelter of (the god) Dagan."
