Queste undici composizioni hanno un forte retro gusto cantautore e sicuramente necessitano di vari ascolti per essere assimilate ed apprezzate in pieno, ma rappresentano anche un nuovo ed emozionante capitolo musicale per McKagan.
Duff McKagan, vero nome Michael Andrew McKagan (Seattle, 5 febbraio 1964), è un polistrumentista e cantante statunitense. Ha ottenuto fama mondiale come bassista dei Guns N' Roses , in cui ha militato dal 1985 al 1997 e di nuovo dal 2016, ma ha fatto parte anche di molte altre band come Velvet Revolver e Jane's Addiction e come solista.

Tenderness , his first solo album since Guns N’ Roses reunited, and his second after 1993’s Believe In Me , forsakes the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and rock’n’roll in favour of Nashville and rootsy Americana.
On May 31st, Duff McKagan celebrates the 5 year anniversary of his solo album Tenderness with a double live album recorded in Los Angeles on June 13, 2019. The album is an intimate and personal journey through Duff’s own songs as well as covers.
