ABOUT US. Our school operates in small classes of no more than 18, with an outstanding pastoral support, and excellent teaching. We recognise that all children are different, and that to become their best selves they need to be nurtured, supported, and recognised as individuals. That is how year after year we have achieved our outstanding results.
Sara joined Kings Monkton School in September 2023 as a PE Teacher and Duke of Edinburgh Lead. Sara worked as a PE Teacher and Duke of Edinburgh Lead for 7 years before joining Kings Monkton School and values the challenge the award poses for pupils. Sara enjoys teaching a variety of sports in particular non-traditional sport such as Tchouckball.
We have two experienced Additional Learning Needs Coordinators – Mrs Sara Strange and Miss Niamh Brady, Mrs Strange has worked at Kings Monkton for 11 years, recently achieving her Master’s degree in ALN with an Autism and behaviour analysis focus. SIXTH FORM. Kings Monkton Sixth Form aids our pupils to ‘become the best you can be’ through Success, Independence, Opportunity. We allow our pupils to focus on areas of study that they love and are truly passionate about. Therefore, we teach a wide range of subjects, such as English, Mathematics, History, Mandarin, Psychology and Criminology.
