The Boston University College of Fine Arts (CFA) unites the School of Music, the School of Theatre, and the School of Visual Arts into an intense, dynamic arts community where students combine professional, individualized training in their field with collaborative work that increasingly crosses departments and schools.

Boston University College of Fine Arts (CFA) offers online and on-campus graduate courses throughout the year. CFA welcomes professional artists, students who recently completed their undergraduate education, and mid-career professionals from other disciplines to explore course offerings and non-degree enrollment.
College of Fine Arts Requirements Pre-Screening Requirement. School of Music applicants in cello, double bass, flute, viola, piano, trombone, trumpet, violin, and voice are required to submit a pre-screening recording by December 1.
