Comedy often doesn't age well, and this is a perfect example of a comedy that hasn't travelled well through the years. It's well enough made, its origins in a play not too obtrusive, a couple of scenes apart. The amiable cast has many familiar faces. It is, though, of its time, and that time seems very, very far away.
