8 nov 2013 · A depressed Poirot is encouraged back to hiss life of detection by the plea of a young and heart broken chauffeur, Ted Williams (Tom Austen), who wants the great sleuth to find his missing love Nita. His quest takes him to The Hotel Olympos in Switzerland, which happens to be the hideout of the deadly Marascaud.
Unlike the other Poirot short story collections, where each story was adapted into a 1-hour episode, the collection entitled The Labours of Hercules, consisting of twelve short stories linked by an initial scene-setting story and a broad running theme, was adapted into a single 2-hour film.
The Capture of Cerberus also features an appearance from Countess Vera Rossakoff, a dangerous and beautiful woman, Poirot’s only acknowledged love interest. The collection was adapted for TV in 2013 as part of the final series of Agatha Christie's Poirot starring David Suchet, in which the different stories were woven together to make one film.
