26 lug 2015 · That said, even though the new Turkey Shoot sets out to be a Hunger Games copy, this is largely abandoned after the 45 minute point and the film tangents off into a plot about a military frame-up and political double-dealings where the hunted man Dominic Purcell escapes into the outside world in an effort to clear his name – an aspect that doesn’t even remotely resemble the original.

9 dic 2014 · Like Hartley’s film, co-writer/director Jon Hewitt’s reboot of Turkey Shoot is a mostly successful, if somewhat flawed, rendition which should at the very least please genre fans. Like Brian Trenchard-Smith’s earlier film of the same name, Turkey Shoot is set in a dystopian world where people are hunted for sport, but there the similarities mostly end.
