Hercules vows to slay the monster when it appears, freeing Troy from this curse. The problem is that the current ruler of Troy is temporarily on the throne until Princess Diana comes of age ... and she is coming of age this year. He's planning on using the sacrifice to get rid of her, so Hercules is a major annoyance.
Hercules (Gordon Scott) sets out to save the city of Troy from a horrible sea monster. Meanwhile, the city is threatened by a different kind of monster--a smarmy politician who will stop at nothing to seize the throne.
After learning that the maniacal Trojan king plans to sacrifice beautiful Princess Diana to a monstrous sea creature, Hercules — the son of Zeus — leaps into action to slay the angry beast and save the fair damsel.
