Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Charles Rennie Mackintosh (Glasgow, 7 giugno 1868 – Londra, 10 dicembre 1928) è stato un architetto, designer e pittore scozzese.Esponente del cosiddetto Glasgow movement, fu l'esponente di maggior rilievo dell'Art Nouveau nel Regno Unito, per alcuni viene invece considerato uno dei precursori di tale movimento.

He became closest to Herbert MacNair, a fellow apprentice architect at Mackintosh’s same firm, and sisters Margaret and Frances Macdonald, who were full-time day students.
