8 lug 2016 · Het begin van de film komt namelijk een beetje onrealistisch over, hier ga ik niet teveel over zeggen, want dat mogen jullie uiteindelijk zelf beoordelen. Echter na de eerste 45 minuten komt de film goed los en wordt het uiteindelijk toch nog een goede wegkijker. Mijn eindoordeel: Een degelijke film die je niet perse links hoeft te laten liggen.

Plot. Kevin, Brian, Chris, Darick and Eddie are childhood friends from a working-class neighborhood in Pittsburgh. They are in their mid-20s and working low paid blue collar jobs and occasional small criminal offenses like selling marijuana or illegally providing liquor for parties. Brian convinces all but Eddie to start making money by pandering.

That being said, a film like this could certainly work provided the writing and characters are interesting on some level. Here, that is not the case. Their desires are one-note, and any growth or experience is equally so. To top everything all off, the stylistic choices here often turn the most serious and contemplative moments into a sheer comedy.
