As the oldest and largest of Cambridge’s postgraduate Colleges, with around 800 current members from 80 different countries, Darwin is a wonderful place to further your studies. The first Cambridge College to admit both men and women, Darwin has always dared to be different.

  5. Darwin is the oldest and largest postgraduate-only College in Cambridge. We were also the first College to admit both men and women as students and fellows. Founded in 1964 in the family home of Charles Darwin’s son and grandson we are now one of the larger Colleges with around 800 postgraduate students studying everything from Anglo-Saxon to Zoology.

  6. Lecture Series. Join us for the Darwin College Lecture Series 2024, which will explore the idea of Revolution from eight very different angles. The lectures are open to all and free to attend, on a first come first served basis. We do not take bookings or issue tickets.
