14 giu 2024 · The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island was so outrageous and out-there that it became a favorite of mine. But Rescue from Gilligan's Island actually had its good points, showing the castaways how the world had changed once they returned to "civilization", and not for the better.
My impression of Rescue from Gilligan's Island 4K. New Purchase. I grew up watching Gilligan's Island but had no great love for it and probably haven't watched it in 40 years. But this was such an oddball release I couldn't pass it up. The cover art is...a choice.

14 giu 2024 · It's actually a bit of a minor miracle we're getting this at all considering the state of physical media. Anybody who believes there might be a better release down the road is still on that Godfarsaken island. Think of this as the "grindhouse" version of the film.
