22 giu 2024 · Rarely replay games. Sometimes I will if there's more exploration I want to do with the systems, but I've finished the main missions etc. Happens most with immersive sims (or adjacent) e.g. Deus Ex, Deathloop. Also, shorter FromSoft games like Bloodborne.

Gaming is a hobby not a job (at least for most of us). I look at my Steam and PSN history, I tried FF7 remake, Persona 5, R&C: Rift Apart, Days Gone, DQ11, Devil May Cry 5, Alan Wake, Demon's Souls ...
Replaying the game on ERR easy mode made me realize. Constructive Criticism. The game is actually fun and feels fair if you dont get Oneshot everytime. It feels a lot better to be active rather than do nothing waiting for your turn. This is how DS3 and DS1 felt. You rarely got Oneshot.

I have 4 characters ready for the DLC, and I have just replayed the base game twice in the lead up to the DLC. Once on NG, and once on NG+. I'll replay the base game on NG+ after I've completed the DLC on the 4 characters. That way I can also use DLC weapons.
