10 lug 2024 · I'm kinda honestly surprised, even a little shocked, there hasn't been a Dr. Phibes reboot. He's abominable! I like "Dr. Death Loses Patience." Had to look up if anyone had ever done "back to skull" (it points to how gauzy Madhouse is that I've got no idea whether Dr. Death is a medical doctor, a Ph.D., a scientist, or it's purely a sobriquet).
9 lug 2024 · Besides, ending on Gordon Hessler's limp 1971 "adaptation" of Murders In the Rue Morgue would have left us on a sour note, whereas ending on The Abominable Dr. Phibes's disfavored sequel, Dr. Phibes Rises Again, even if I like it, just seems unsatisfactory somehow.
