Part of the garden had in the past been a Jewish cemetery, until Jewish people were expelled from Oxford and the rest of the UK in 1290 under the ‘Edict of Expulsion’ issued by King Edward I. Hi everyone! Just thought I'd post some pics of Christ Church Meadow this morning and then of Magdalen College and the glorious Addison's Walk that's in the college's grounds. Absolutely wondrous, Oxford really is the jewel in heaven's crown.
