Below them are Job’s three friends (Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite). The corners of the tapestry tell Chagall’s story of faith.
28 mag 2024 · Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar listened for 26 verses, without interrupting or correcting. By chapter four, however, it appears as if Eliphaz reached his empathetic limit. He spent the next two chapters, 48 verses, sermonizing and chastising Job.
