1 giorno fa · Throughout the 1950s and early 1960s, Bream recorded for the BBC and had a busy touring schedule around the world. In 1960, he formed the Julian Bream Consort around Elizabethan-era instruments and played the lute. He retired from recording in the mid-1990s and from performing in 2002.
